Like SVP mentioned earlier, we love a good workout. Mine typically ranges from a solid 2-3 mile run in the suburbs, followed by a couple circuits, or in the spin studio aka burning my buns off. Fitness brings clarity, balance, strength, and wellness to my life. It not only makes my body physically stronger, but also plays a huge part in keeping my my spirits high and confidence strong (talk about the beauty of endorphins!).
We were so honored when Sweaty Betty reached out to us, and then asked SPV to represent NYC in their coverage of four major fashion cities (if you missed it, check it out here). Now, I'm taking you all the way to the West Coast to show how Sweaty Betty played a part in my week.
Normally, I go to Burn Cycle post-work to ride with my burn family. If you're in Portland and love an awesome, full body workout, I highly recommend. It's a cardio killer and you'll come out looking like you just went for a swim. This week, though, I decided to take my rad new SB gear for a spin down by the waterfront for some running, light circuit training, and stretching because the weather was too good to pass up. My look included: Splits Run 7/8 leggings, California Girl GF4F tank, and Double Speed Workout Bra.
Talk about high quality and performance, and most importantly instilling a feeling of confidence. This brand isn't messing around when it says "to inspire women to find empowerment through fitness." I felt supported, comfortable, motivated, and inspired to reach for the highest during my workout.
After finishing, I changed into my Pacessetter Run Tunic, and threw on my beanie and leather jacket for a "Sporty Spice" look (a la SPV). The design of the clothing seamlessly brings fashion and fitness together, making it perfectly acceptable to hit the town and meet up with friends post-sweat sesh. Here are a few shots of my post-workout look:
Needless to say, WE love Sweaty Betty and what they stand for. Check out their page for more of their stuff!
