Portland. California. Portland. VEGAS.
These past two weeks have been such a blur, in the best way possible. As you know, not too long ago SPV and I flew home for my dad's 60th birthday to celebrate a huge milestone in his life with family and close friends. We like to say 60 is the new 50. ;) Well, little did he know we were not going to let the party end that night--we surprised him with four tickets to see AC/DC in VEGAS at the MGM, the very NEXT WEEKEND. I've never seen my dad so excited.
A plane ride to PDX, a quick work week, and two more plane rides later, I landed in Vegas (VEGAS BABYYYYY). [TBH: I'm not the biggest fan of Vegas. It's lack of cleanliness, overkill of concrete, materalistic overload, and cloud of smoke that sits in the casinos doesn't really fly with this girl] But heyyyy! A trip with the fam to see one of the biggest classic rock bands ever... that's a no brainer.
To keep it short and sweet, AC/DC was one of the best concerts I've ever witnessed. Production killed it, Angus seriously rocked it, yet above all, seeing my dad relive his glory rock-n-roll days really hit home for me. The trip was also filled with so much food and wine, I had to share. Also discovered my new favorite boutique hotel in Vegas where Giada Restaurant resides, Cromwell Hotel. (Smells amazing aka NO SMOKE).
NIGHT 1: AC/DC
NIGHT 2: Giada's Restaurant & Chandelier Bar
DINNER: GIADA VEGAS
MORE PICS N' STUFF
The Glenn's rocked Vegas, and now, I'm seriously rocked out. It was a trip for the books (really killin it on my resolution of traveling more rn!) Woo! I love the fam so much, and feeling really blessed that I get to experience such amazing moments with them like this.
Happy days, WE babes!
